The journey began in the construction industry.

Years of hands-on experience on job sites throughout Northern Minnesota revealed a clear need for dependable excavation services from people who understand both the work and the community.

That need sparked a new direction.

With a strong foundation in construction and a drive to serve local builders, homeowners, and developers, the focus turned to excavation. The goal is to provide the groundwork for everything from residential homes to large commercial projects.

Caleb Christofferson

Co-Owner

Born and raised in Shevlin, MN, Caleb has deep roots in the area and a true passion for dirt work! Before launching Triple C, he spent some years working in excavation and septic systems, and running his own trucking business along the way.
Now, alongside his fiancé Abby, Caleb is proud to call Bemidji home. When he’s not digging, hauling, or building, you can bet he’s out enjoying everything our community has to offer.

Colt Johnson

Co-Owner

Colt has had the spirit of an entrepreneur since he was young. Starting out as an Angus farmer, he quickly expanded his skills into drywall and painting, then became your go-to “friendly dumpster guy,” before finally pursuing his long-term vision: excavation.
With his wife Hannah and daughter Blair by his side, Colt brings hard work, dedication, and the heart of a farmer into everything he does. He’s truly an entrepreneur of all trades and finds success in anything he sets his mind to.

Jake swapped out his hammer from the carpentry world and brought along the grit and grind of a true farm-raised powerhouse. Whether it’s long hours or tough jobs, Jake tackles it all with serious dedication (we’re talking 60+ hour weeks!) and a get-it-done attitude that’s hard to beat.
